This session will be a case study format presentation on how Interscope Geffen A&M Records, a division of Universal Music Group, has successfully used OpenID based tools to improve customer engagement and registration rates across 125 artists’ websites. Some of these sites are seeing close to 90% of login traffic come through a third party identity provider such as Facebook, Google or Twitter. Brian Kissel has been on the forefront of developing user managed identity solutions, and Lee Hammond has been a pioneer in the adoption of these technologies. Together they will address best practices, industry trends, and future requirements from the perspective of both the technology and actual use cases.
