Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.

Advances in Open Identity for Open Government

Pamela Dingle

The last year has seen the United States Government move away from heavy and expensive federation programs and projects, and towards a system more in keeping with the tenets of cloud computing. By creating the concept of "Trust Frameworks", the government is laying the framework to get out of the business of managing citizen identities. Pamela Dingle will explain what the Federal Identity, Cradential, and Access Management Program does, the current state of readiness of their efforts, and their impact on the identity world. In addition Pamela will show some of the first actual systems and services operating according to US government ICAM profiles.
