Summit County, Colorado Activities
Colorado and Keystone Resort are home to a spectacular number of activities for you and your family to experience while visiting the area. The rugged scenery in Keystone invites hiking, mountain biking, and fly-fishing, and a short drive from Keystone, you'll find a wide array of trails, and Colorado State Parks. Within Keystone Resort itself there are several excellent restaurants, a first-class spa and two golf courses.
When checking into your room at the resort, you will be provided with an "Adventure Passport" with coupons to the local attractions. Links to several of those local area attractions are listed below.
Please remember that altitude sickness is a very real possibility at this elevation (9,173 ft). Allow yourself time to acclimate before attempting strenuous activities. Please click HERE for a description of altitude sickness.

Explore fun at the Kids’ Discovery Days. Watch a magic show, see zoo animals, or sing a-long with our musician. The entertainer changes every Tuesday so make sure to come to everyone! It’s fun, it’s free it’s Kids’ Discovery. Free parking will be available at the River Run Lots, located just off Gondola Road. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change at any time. On Tuesday evenings in July, the Quaking Aspen Amphitheater hosts an evening of live storytelling for kids of all ages. Join us as the stories of A.A. Milne, Lewis Carroll, Ronald Dahl, and more come alive. Then stick around and create your own wonderful stories to share with your families and friends. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult. All parents are welcome to participate in the fun!

Family Fun Night (FREE FOR ALL)

Bring the family and enjoy the festivities at Keystone. Have dinner at one of our River Run restaurants and stay for a night full of activities! Kids can bounce the night away in our bounce house, try your hand at some carnival games for silly, fun prizes or just enjoy the kids show at 5:00 and 6:00. The Kids’ entertainer changes every Wednesday so make sure to make it to every one! Free parking will be available at the River Run Lots, located just off Gondola Road. Country Dance Night and Western BBQ ($$)
Location: The Out of Bounds Saloon is located downstairs in the Adventure Center by the Keystone Ice

Family friendly fun! Out of Bounds Saloon presents country dance nights and Western BBQ every Wednesday! Western grub available for $10/adult & $7/child. Wednesday, 5 – 7 pm. Stay for western dancing until 10pm at the Out of Bounds Saloon! Cha cha, 2-step, heel-toe, twist, slide and saddle up and head to Keystone every Wednesday at Summit County’s only Country- Western Dance night. Come to the Out of Bounds Saloon and learn the two-step with Keystone’s renowned line dance instructor Tex DeGarie. Free dance lessons from 6-7p.m. and country tunes until 10.
The Out of Bounds Saloon is located downstairs in the Adventure Center by the Keystone Ice Rink. Free parking across from the Keystone Lodge & Spa. Cowboy boots not required.

rewrites her own story, breaking free from the fairytale’s conventional chains, and embarks on a musical journey of friendship, adventure, and self discovery the whole family will enjoy.

River Run Rocks- Keystone Resort

River Run is ready to rock! Come have dinner at Keystone and stay for a free concert featuring 10,000 Maniacs. A kids’ fun zone will keep the young ones busy while you enjoy the music. Beverages, alcohol and food sold á la carte. Free concert T-shirt with a purchase of $30 or more from any River Run Merchant. Show your receipt at the merchant tent from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Music in the Mountains Concert Series

Start your week with the melodies of the Mountains! Join us select Sunday mornings in July and August for free concerts in Keystone's River Run. Whether it's a brass quintet, a jazz ensemble, or a chamber soloist, you are guaranteed a morning of beautiful music at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Indulge in tasty mimosas, visit the Bloody Mary bar, or just enjoy some complimentary snacks. All concerts begin at 11 AM and are free to audiences
